| Hi there 👋 I'm just going to say it. I have a favorite dog, and a least favorite. Can you guess which one is which? | | | | My Favorite Dog Of These Three️️ ️⬆️ | | | Playing favorites may be surprising to you, since I love all dogs, and I really enjoy meeting new dogs and helping rescue dogs. I know pet parents (& human parents for that matter) may not ever admit to having a favorite, but deep down I know they do.
In my house, my pack consists of a 10 year old Boxer named Flip, 3 year old Cane Corso named Kobe, a 15 year old terrier mix named Zoey. We've had Flip, Kobe and Zoey all since they were young pups. And I know you're going, how can you possibly pick between such different dogs but here's the truth: | | | | I have a favorite dog at different times of the day and for different activities! (Sounds like a cop-out answer but it's really not.) | | | | Zoey Zoey is my favorite and least favorite dog to take on car rides. She absolutely loves it, she's pint size, so she's easy to get in and out of the car. You can just pick her up and go. However you have to be really careful and not push the fun meter too far, because if you do, and it happens almost every car ride, she'll let you know how much fun she's having by squeezing out a little tootsie roll turd. 💩 When she does this, she quickly turns to my least favorite dog to take in the car! But her excitement and love for car rides easily surpasses the frustration of a little poop to clean up. | | | | | | | Kobe Kobe, he's my favorite dog to take photos with. The way his big eyes look straight up but somehow feels like he's looking deep into my soul and knows I'm his person. His eyes are so soulful, and he's been such an inspiration to so many I even came up with a merch line called "Kobe Inspire" I also love giving Kobe belly rubs, because it rarely happens. With Kobe's high anxiety and angst, he never wants to snuggle. If you even just pet him for too long, it goes from zero to sixty and all of a sudden he thinks it's playtime and you're in a WWE wrestling match for the superweight title. But every once in a while, he will come lay down at my feet and roll over. And this is rare! I mean super rare, like I can't tell you the last time it happened. But when it does, I'm able to get a solid 2 minute belly rub in and a slight snuggle before his internal alarm goes off and he's back to being on guard of potential intruders AKA mailman, bugs, dog farts, basically anything that makes noise. | | | | | | Flip But there's just something about boxers that I love. Their crisp brown, black and white lines. Their goofy but fiercely loving and loyal personalities. But their quick burst of extreme energy easily makes Flip my favorite dog to play fetch with. Even in his old age, there is nothing like a game of fetch with a good old fashioned tennis ball. When we go out into the yard and he knows it's about to go down, he initially tries to play it cool. But the second that ball is flying through the air, his ears get tucked back into sport mode, he loses his mind and his eyes start going all googly, basically like this emoji in dog form 🤪 | | | | | So there you have it, that's who my favorite dog is!
