If you're a few days into a reset (a health kick, Dry January or just trying to feel better) and things feel a little off, that's completely normal.
I think a lot of us expect instant results. Clear head. Perfect sleep. Boundless energy. But in reality, there's usually a short adjustment period where your body and routines are recalibrating.
That doesn't mean you're failing or doing it wrong. It usually means you're actually making the change.
For me, this time of year is less about rules and willpower and more about choosing things that support how I want to feel day to day.
Cold plunging has been a big anchor for me. A couple of minutes in cold water has a way of cutting through the noise. On slower days, heat does the job. A proper sweat, switching off, letting the body unwind.
No pressure to do everything "perfectly". Just choosing what feels right on that day. That's enough.
If you're showing up, experimenting and adjusting as you go then you're already doing the work.
