Some companies just want to make money. Others just want to do good things. But "B Corporations," like Sea to Table, believe it is possible to do both. We work hard every day to balance profit and purpose through social and environmental accountability. But it's not easy to become a B Corp. First, we committed ourselves to using our business as a force for good – and then we underwent a rigorous vetting and certification process to ensure we practice what we preach. We have now been a B Corp for 10 years, squarely in the company of other respected B Corps such as Patagonia, Bombas and Ben & Jerry's — companies that do good and that you can feel good about doing business with. (We've pitched fish ice cream to Ben and Jerry's... they politely declined). Find out more about B Corps here. |
