I never imagined I'd be the sort of person to travel halfway around the world… for a book. But that's exactly where I found myself 15 years ago. From Kuala Lumpur to Chicago. 9,268 miles. 22+ hours of flying. All for a book. A simple book that claimed, rather boldly,  to have all the answers I needed for MY life. Sounds audacious, right? But thousands of people who were lucky enough to get their copy swore by it. Some of them I knew personally.  Friends. Mentors. These were people I trusted. The weird thing is, none of them ever shared their copy of the book with me. Not even for a weekend. In fact — They couldn't. Borrow it from the local library? Nope. Bookstores? Never in stock. Amazon? It was never listed. I had to get my own copy. And I had to go to Chicago to get it. "So there I was... Being chauffeured (yes, you read that right) from the airport to some mysterious, hidden property, this book was housed in. And I eventually got my hands on it. The book that promised it all." Every page spoke to my soul. It even answered questions I never knew I had. I still have my copy to this day. It shaped the very foundation of my life… and everything I've built since.
